The visit of Governor Bill Lee to Historic Granville on August 27th can only be described as a remarkable success, with residents, staff, volunteers, and county and state officials alike expressing their enthusiasm and appreciation for the Governor’s engagement with our community.
During the visit, he engaged with individuals, addressed the crowd, visited Sutton General Store, Granville Broom Shop, Aunt Bee’s Farmhouse Quilt Shop and Bakery, and discussed plans for Granville’s Tennessee America 250 programming.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to Governor Lee for taking the time to visit our small town and experience firsthand what makes this a special place.
