Step into this 1880’s general store and be surrounded by memorabilia of years gone by. Reminders of a simpler time; overalls, Stenson hats, knives, handmade items, vintage candies, and Coca Cola in a glass bottle may be purchased. With these helpings of history, delicious home style cooking is served. Choose from beans, greens, and cornbread, the meat and three blue plate special, or a made-to-order sandwich. The chicken salad on sourdough bread and fried, on the grill, thick-sliced bologna sandwiches are popular items. Make sure to indulge in one of the homemade desserts, often made from an old family recipe. Enjoy hand-dipped ice cream, milkshakes or floats as an afternoon treat before departing. See Our Menu.
A dining room which is the converted feed room may be reserved for lunches for groups of up to 50. By reservation, enjoy a family style dinner and a Bluegrass music show each Saturday. Whether you are here for breakfast or lunch during normal business hours or the Bluegrass Dinner Show, it is truly an experience to remember.
