The Granville Fall Celebration on October 4th is the fall event you don't want to miss! This one-day celebration of the season combines all the events which have made our fall event so popular. The 25th Annual Granville Quilt Festival will feature over 200 quilts displayed in two historical churches that have been entered in competition. One of Tennessee's oldest quilt festivals, quilts can be entered in one or more of 35 categories with awards in each category. Quilts for the competition must be entered on Wednesday, October 1st. Find details at granvilletn.com. Â

The Tennessee Spirits Festival has grown to a new level with 18 Tennessee distilleries participating in the festival. The event will begin at 12:00 and conclude at 4:00 p.m. in a new location behind the Granville Whiskey Decanter Museum. This event is conducted by the Tennessee Whiskey Guild and sponsored by Tennessee Corn. Â
Â
If you love cornbread Granville is the place to be on October 4th as Tennessee's best bakers enter their cornbread in a competition in the Pioneer Village. There are four categories of competition and two age groups. Cornbread that is entered is then served with our country lunch on Cornbread Lane with your lunch purchase in that area. Experience a unique step back in time when you taste hot water cornbread at the operating grist mill, watch cornmeal and grits being ground and purchase a fresh bag to take home with you. Cornbread will also be cooked over an open fire for tasting as well. Â
Â
Music is always a big part of the Granville events, and this festival has four different stages for entertainment throughout the day. All concerts are included in your festival admission. You can hear the Front Row Barber Shop Quartet at the Barber Shop Stage and The Packard Family at the Pioneer Cabin. Jazz on the Cumberland will feature the Jazz Alliance Big Band and The Blues Brokers and the Pruett Stage will feature The Victors, The Bilbeys, Smith County Men's Choir, and an Elvis Tribute performed by Kenneth Underwood and much more. The day ends with the Sutton Ole Time Music Hour Dinner Show at the Suttons Store featuring The Bilbeys. Â
Â
Something new to the festival this year is two nights of the Mayberry Dinner Theater in the Pioneer Village featuring the "Darlings Fortune" with great dinner and bluegrass music. A great night of humor and great entertainment.  Reservations are required for this event scheduled for October 3rd and 4th.
