Fall Festival Returns to Historic Granville on Oct 3
Get ready to experience the beauty, creativity, traditions, and hospitality of Tennessee at the Fall Festival in Historic Granville on October 3. Visitors are invited to step back in time for a day of old-fashioned fun featuring music, food, arts, crafts, friendly competition, and the unique charm of Historic Granville. The festival’s Quilt Festival will showcase exceptional craftsmanship and creativity in 35 categories, while the ever-popular Cornbread Contest invites participants to compete for the ultimate prize, bragging rights!
Young talent takes center stage at the Youth Artisans Fair, where area youth join the Granville Artisans in showcasing their creativity and handmade skills. Unique handcrafted items will be available for purchase.
History and storytelling come alive with “Journey to the Promised Land,” an original script by Ogeal Halfacre Webster, presented as an outdoor dinner performance in the distinctive setting of the Pioneer Village.
Guests can also savor Tennessee tradition at the Tennessee Whiskey Trail Spirits Tasting, featuring an opportunity to experience some of the state’s celebrated spirits.
And the music lineup promises to keep Historic Granville lively throughout the day, with performances by Jazz on the Cumberland, "The Jazz Alliance Big Band" and "Blues Broker". On other stages, guests will be entertained by Randy Harris and the Victors Band, rising star Rylee Barry, the Smith County Men’s Chorus, and other talented performers.
The fun continues throughout October with the Scarecrow and Artisans Festival, featuring whimsical scarecrows, handmade treasures, and seasonal activities. Art enthusiasts can also enjoy the month-long Art Show presented by the Roaring River Arts Alliance, showcasing the work of talented regional artists.
