Granville Dinner Theater Presents "Love Stories"
Historic Granville Dinner Theater will be performing “Love Stories of Mayberry” on February 1, 2, 8 and 9th. At each performance date, two Andy Griffith Show adaptations will be presented: “Floyd the Deceiver” and “Gomer Gets a Girlfriend” both of which are humorous love stories. The plays are scheduled for 5:30 pm and 7:30 pm each evening.
The performers are as follows: Andy Griffith will be played by Larry Granger, Barney by Sam Moore, Floyd by Randy Harris, Gomer by Steven Lish, Mary Grace and Madeline Grayson by Kaye Loftis, Aunt Bea & Helen Crump by Lisa Apple, Thelma Lou by Janie Phillips, Opie
by Joseph Neal, Otis by Randall Clemons, and the Town Drunk by Norm Prill who is also our Stage Manager. Mayberry plays are scheduled in Granville each February, April, May and December and have been presented for the past 12 years. These popular performances have helped us earn the distinction of being "Tennessee's Mayberry Town."
The Mayberry Dinner Theater is the only place in the United States that offers this kind of entertainment. The plays are family friendly and offer a great night of entertainment with great humor. A delicious Valentine meal will be served in the Dining Room of the Sutton General Store, and the performances will be presented just steps from the Store at the
Granville Event Center. For more information and reservations visit granvilletn.com or call 931-653-4151. Watch the website for more information about Mayberry - I Love Lucy Days schedule for April12th & 13th.

The performances of "Love Stories of Mayberry" sound like a fantastic way to celebrate the charm of classic television! The inclusion of a Valentine meal makes it even more special. I can just imagine the laughter from scenes like "Floyd the Deceiver." It reminds me of how storytelling can create memorable moments, just like the fun interactions in games where character dynamics play a big role. If you're looking for more engaging stories, you might find some interesting themes on platforms like Clean the Golf Yard Wiki.
The upcoming performances of "Love Stories of Mayberry" sound like a delightful way to enjoy some classic humor! With shows like "Floyd the Deceiver" and "Gomer Gets a Girlfriend," it’s sure to be a fun experience for all ages. I love that they’ve created this cozy atmosphere with a Valentine meal included. It really enhances the whole evening. If you’re a fan of character-driven stories like those in Mayberry, you might also appreciate some quirky interactions on platforms like Tomodachi Life, where personality and storytelling come to life in a unique way.
The 5:30 and 7:30 showtimes are a nice setup for people who want dinner and the play without making the evening too late. The cast list also makes it feel like the town has really leaned into the Mayberry theme, which is definately part of the charm. I hope the event page stays focused on the dinner theater details, because a random game-app reference like https://fortune-king-jackpot.com/apps/, https://bigsmalldice.com/apps/, https://color-games.com/apps/ would just distract from the hours, meal, and reservation info. Calling ahead for a group sounds smart, especially with only Wednesday through Saturday availability.
