Elvis Tribute Artist, Wayne Euliss, to perform at Cornbread Moonshine Festival

The 11th Annual Granville Cornbread & Moonshine Festival on May 4th will feature Elvis Presley Tribute Artist, Wayne Euliss. Wayne will bring Elvis to Granville as he performs concerts at 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm at the Elvis Event Stage.  If you are an Elvis fan, you don’t want to miss these special concerts.  In addition, he will also host an Elvis Look-A-Like Contest and Elvis Trivia Contest at 2:00 pm.  Granville is the home of the "World's Largest" collection of limited-edition whiskey decanters, and a large exhibit in the museum is dedicated to Elvis Presley, with many of the decanters trimmed in gold. 

 

There will be a variety of musical performances during the day which are included in your $7.00 festival admission. At the Pruett Stage, special music will be performed by Sweet N3 Band at 12:00, 1:00, 2:00 and 3:00 p.m., and the Front Row Barber Shop Quartet will perform in front of the Daniel Barber Shop Museum at 11:30 am, 1:30 pm, 2:30 and 3:30 pm.  The Packard Family Band will perform at the Cabin in Pioneer Village at 11:00 am, 12:00, 2:00 and 3:00 p.m. Top off your festival day at Sutton Ole Time Bluegrass Dinner Show at 5:00 pm and 6:30 pm featuring the Def Leprechaun Band. Entries for the Cornbread Competition will be taken from 8:30 am - 9:30 am in Pioneer Village.  Winners will be announced, and awards presented at 11:45 am at Pruett Stage.

Moonshine Tasting will be sponsored by the Tennessee Whiskey Trail Guild and will feature 16 Tennessee Distillers from 12:00 to 4:00 pm.  There is a $10.00 Tasting Fee in addition to the $7.00 Festival Fee, and you will be able to sample spirits from all 16 distillers. Visitors must be 21 years of age to enter the tasting area and should be prepared to present their ID.

You can learn more about Granville's moonshine history at the Whistle Stop Saloon where you will find information about Hop T. Lee, a Granville native and known moonshiner.

 

Wildwood Resort and the Tennessee Whiskey Trail Guild are co-hosting a Signature Event on the South Deck at Wildwood Marina with a Spirit Filled Dinner from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Reservations are required, and tickets may be purchased by calling 931-653-4360 or at willwoodresorttn.com.

 

Included in the $7.00 Festival Admission, visitors will be able to visit 10 venues, craft booths and great food from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.   Stay a little later on Saturday night and join us for a Mayberry Outdoor Dinner Theater performance featuring the "Best of the Darlings" with special feature of Ernest T. Bass.  Reservations are required, and tickets may be purchased by visiting granvilletn.com or calling 931-653-4151.  The Cornbread and Moonshine Festival has a $7.00 admission charge and $5.00 for parking.
