More About the Band: 

Originally  from Southwest Missouri, Johnny Meyer started playing his dad’s guitar  at 10 years old. His introduction to bluegrass and country music came a  few years later when his mom picked up a banjo at a yard sale. Johnny  and his siblings eventually formed a bluegrass band, and in 2009 took  1st place at the KSMU Youth in Bluegrass Competition in Branson,  Missouri, as well as the 2013 SPBGMA International Band Competition in  Nashville, Tennessee.

Since  moving to Nashville in 2014, Johnny has traveled North America and  overseas accompanying artists like Kenny and Amanda Smith, Band of  Ruhks, and Country Music Hall of Fame Member Jimmy Fortune.

Lately, Johnny has been exploring his own sound, releasing an all original debut recording project in the fall of 2020.
