Granville Artisan Workshop & Gallery

Granville Workshop & Gallery opened in 2026.  This house was built by Walter and Willie Clark in the 1960s and used as a residence until purchased by Granville Museum, Inc. in 2025.

This building is dedicated to classroom space for teaching and preserving traditional crafts, along with a gallery showcasing the work of local artisans. 

 

Featured works include textile arts, basketmaking, blacksmithing, broom making, quilting and painting, highlightin the import role these traditional crafts played in shaping our nation

 

Throughout the year, workshops will be scheduled for basket weaving, baking, weaving and art. You may register for a class on our website or by calling 931-653-4151.

Open Wednesday - Friday 12:00 - 3:00 PM and Saturday 12:00 AM - 5:00 PM 

A Town Tour Ticket is required for your visit to the Granville Artisan Workshop & Gallery. Tickets are $7.00 for Adults; $5.00 for Children 6-12; Children Under 6 are Free. Your Tour Ticket gives you access to a guided tour of the Sutton Homestead, Pioneer Village and Car Museum a self-guided tour of all the other buildings and museums, including, Granville Museum, Farm to Your Table Agriculture Museum, Daniel Barber Shop and Post Office Museum, Clemons Car Museum, Mayberry - I Love Lucy Museum, Granville Whiskey Decanter Museum, Whistle Stop Saloon and Ice Cream Museum and Tennessee Quilt & Textile Museum, Independence Hall, and The Lovely Find Garden Shop. Purchase your town tour tickets at Sutton General Store, Southern Shops of Granville or Aunt Bee's Quilt Shop & Bakery.
