Granville Quilt Show Winners for 2025

Quilting serves as a tangible link to the past, preserving family histories, traditions, and legacies for future generations. Through quilts, families pass down stories, symbols, and techniques, keeping alive the memories and experiences of those who came before.

Quilting has long been a community activity, bringing people together to share stories, laughter, and companionship. Quilting provides opportunities for social bonding and support within communities. For these reasons and more, Historic Granville was proud to host our annual Quilt Festival on October 5.

With 33 categories for women, men and youth, the Quilt Festival had 141 entries of quilts and quilted items. A special thanks to this year's sponsors, Janice & Ben Lynch and Janie and Darrin Phillips. Pictured and listed below are First Place Winners. The Granville Quilt Show Winners for 2025 truly highlight the creativity and dedication within the quilting community. Each piece reflects countless hours of careful stitching, thoughtful color choices, and artistic vision. Events like this inspire both experienced quilters and beginners to continue exploring textile art. Interestingly, creative inspiration often comes from unexpected places, much like the phrase e bike going to the sun road, which evokes a sense of journey and exploration. In a similar way, quilting can represent personal stories and adventures. Congratulations to all the winners for sharing such remarkable craftsmanship and keeping this beautiful tradition alive for future generations.
