Historic Granville- Tennessee’s Mayberry Town has been chosen by two media publications as one of Tennessee’s Best Town for the Holidays. This year's Christmas theme is
“I Believe in Santa Claus” as the Hallmark Movie Town increases its Christmas activities and decorations. Granville will open the 2024 Christmas Season on November 15th at
11:00 a.m. Its annual Christmas Characters on Parade decorates the entire town with hand painted Christmas characters, scenes, decorations of yesteryear and much more.
The Ladies Fashion Show & Luncheon is schedule for November 15th and 16th at the Granville Event Center beginning at 11:00 am. Guests can enjoy a great Christmas luncheon, entertainment, door prizes, coupons with live models to help you add to your Fall/Winter wardrobe or prepare for a special Christmas occasion. Shops will open at 9:00 am and close at 5:00 pm to allow guests to begin shopping for the holidays. Fashion Show. reservations may be made by calling 931-653-4151.
Sutton General Store, Granville Gift Shop, Southern Shops, Granville Broom Shop and Aunt Bees Quilt and Bakery Shop will be featuring great Christmas shopping with special discount coupons for fashion show guests.
"I Believe in Santa Claus" will feature the annual Festival of Trees with 25 beautifully decorated trees showcased at Granville Museum. Christmas Historic Home Tours
an Antique Toy Show and artisan demonstrations will make Pioneer Village a "must see" location for your visit. See Christmas quilts at the Tennessee Quilt & Textile Museum and enjoy a great holiday meal at Sutton General Store.
The Mayberry-Lucy Christmas Dinner Theater will host performances on December 5,6,11,12 & 13 with a Christmas Dinner at Sutton Store and two plays to follow dinner. This year's presentations will feature "The Fun Girls" and "I Love Lucy Christmas." Reservations are required and may be purchased at granvilletn.com or by calling 931-653-4151. Come early and enjoy shopping until 8 pm each evening.
Christmas Bluegrass Dinner Shows will begin on Saturday, November 30 and will continue until December 21. Great holiday menus are scheduled followed by live bluegrass bands form the area. Reservations are required and tickets are on sale at granvilletn.com.
Granville Country Christmas “I Believe in Santa Claus” will be off to an early start on December 14th with a new event. Parents and children may enjoy Breakfast with Santa with a meal served between 8:00 and 10:00 am. A special menu with children's activities and an opportunity to make photos with Santa. Tickets are on sale at granvilletn.com. Your Breakfast with Santa ticket will include your festival admission for the day. Family pricing is available.
Country Christmas will feature Christmas Musicals, Children's Christmas Activities, Christmas Parade at 3:00 p.m., Santa Claus, Craft Booths, Ten Venues of Granville open, and great shopping at shops of Granville. Country Christmas is from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Admission is $7.00 with free parking and special pricing for children and families. The Lovely Find Tea Room and Garden Gifts will be hosting an “Open House” as they open for business.
