The Story Circle: One Porch Several Stories
"Untold Stories: If These Hills Could Talk"

Pioneer Village Cabin Porch
10:00 AM

Come early to get a seat, you’ll be on the edge of your chair as the storytellers capture the listeners. What could be more entertaining than several storytellers sitting in a semi-circle sharing a variety of stories from their memory, imagination,
and/or heart?

You will meet Luke Denny, a local legendary Moonshine Runner and possibility Junior Johnson sharing about his" shine" running NASCAR.

Listeners will be treated to the music of the guitar playing singing storyteller. Prepare to fall
in love as you hear a love story that started on a rainy night many years ago. In the wide range of stories presented, you’ll find at least one that makes you say, “That reminds me of …..”

As the Story Circle ends, the lunch serving line featuring cornbread lane will begin.

The storytellers in the Story Circle have been a part of a Storytelling Workshop made possible with a grant from TN Arts Commission.
