Historic Granville and Sutton General Store Welcomes Tennessee Songwriters Qualifying Round

"Tennessee is the home of seven genres of music, making it not only a vital part of our state's culture and heritage, but arguably our biggest export to the world."
​ Historic Granville has again been invited to participate in celebrating Tennessee Songwriters Week by being one of 70 venues across the state to host a qualifying round of a competition sponsored by the Tennessee Department of Tourist Development and The Bluebird Cafe.

Songwriters are invited to perform an original work at a qualifying round. Two songwriters will be selected from each venue and will go on to compete in the Songwriters Week Showcase at one of seven historic venues. One songwriter will be selected by a panel of judges to play their original work at The Bluebird Cafe at the conclusion of the competition.
