Scarecrow Festival

"The Magic of Mayberry"

Visit Historic Granville and enter the magical world of Mayberry.  Stroll  through the garden,  marvel at the fairy houses and the admire the whimsical flowers. Walk Clover Street where local buildings become sites on Mayberry's Main Street for the month of October.   Recall favorite episodes of The Andy Griffith Show as you meet Otis riding a goat to town or Opie with a pack of dogs headed to the courthouse.  Enjoy traditional scarecrows and fall decorations, as well as, Mayberry characters lurking about in the buildings.  Don't miss the visiting with the Darlings at the cabin in Pioneer Village.

Annual Quilt Festival & Show

A unique opportunity for area quilters to showcase their beautiful quilts and for everyone else to enjoy the artistry of handmade quilts that are destined to be passed down for generations to come.  The event will be held at the Granville United Methodist Church.  See contest details and categories by clicking on "More Details"  below.

Fall Celebration

"The Streets of Mayberry Town Come to Life"

In addition to the hundreds of scarecrows around Granville, our Fall Celebration includes Jazz on the Cumberland River, a Quilt Festival and Competition, a Motorcyle show with a large variety of artists and craftsmen demonstrating their crafts.  Great food, music and other entertainment for all age groups.
